My short curly haired stubborn bastard for a dad is not the Hollywood version. The elitism, mood swings, slapping around was for real. We're talking about a 10 year old with an ulcer here, they nearly lost custody of me at one point. ..Still, he taught me the game of chess and basic math (although I never use any of these forgotten skills today).
What am I trying to say? Stubborn idiot bastard two pack a day smoker obviously did not have the ability to go to a doctor when he had chest pains for days. No, obviously not. No matter what anyone says, he just knows it comes from the stomach. Bastard.
He is stable now after the heart attack. My mom is hysterical, I talked to her for hours on the phone. Curiously enough she don't want me to come down south though. I also talked to my foster mom Christel, and after that finally stopped feeling like a sociopath.
I made my own phone calls to his doctor in charge, and really got confirmation that he's ok. They are going to keep him there for a few days for observation, and he'll probably have to quit the cigs. Two packs a day since he was 15. Idiot.
Phone will be installed in his room tomorrow. I'll try talking to him. He's never too keen on talking, on the phone or otherwise, but whatever, this family is dysfunctional enough anyway, without me acting like mr Lecter.
The bastard was conscious and walking the whole time when a friend forced him to the hospital. I really don't like him, for so many reasons, and yet I sat here alone dripping a little out of relief. I'm glad he made it after all. Bastard.
