So I guess this fox history lesson hits a bit too close to home. Ha ha.
I stole it from [livejournal.com profile] seamusd

I also got mocked by a dude for not having a car and a driver's license this weekend.

Ha ha.

This entry ends here. I won't go into all that I could mock. Like Jesus I'll turn the other cheek.

If you say mock enough times you sound like some sort of duck. Mock-mock-mock-mock-mock-mock-mock..

Ahem. Yes, I have a busy, busy evening. *cough*

not quite...

...You'd have to apply a certain accent to it, to sound like a duck.
Regardez: muuuck-muck, muck-muuck, muuuuck....

With gas prices the way they are, you should have been mocking him for HAVING a car and license. :p

dudette, with the gas prices in Scandinavia, people with licenses only use cars when they really have to, and certainly not to get a bag of milk around the corner...
I fear there will come a time when all people will be forced to take the less obvious route. It will be a hard awakening call for some.

Mocking is like the smallpox, it spreads all too easy into my system, and I like so many Americans and things in the States, that I have developed a fear of insulting that is more effective than Stalinist censorship.

I'm currently working on a journal entry that will not only mock, but actually try to present the very elusive shades of gray I also happen to see. This takes brains and research though, so I'm trying to muster up both. ;)

The news thing is great. It makes my twisted mind wander:

JFK gets what he deserves for coming to Texas

FDR: gimps finally dies in office after two too many terms.

Women bad luck in space: Challenger explodes,

Oliver North trades evil drugs for rightous weapons.

The list goes on....

"Oliver North trades evil drugs for rightous weapons."

Hmmm. You mean that wasn't a real conservative-run newspaper headline back in the 80s? :/

As I said, very close to home...

(there might actually have been some right wing christian preacher yapping about women teachers having nothing to do in a spacecraft, and now her family misses a mother, blah blah)

And for you who don't speak the language of Glory and Heroes, I made a farfetched wording joke around mocking and so on and bla bla... not fun at all, move along nothing to see here, move along...

I rather enjoy not having to deal with car maintenance, the ungodly price of gas, and just driving in general. Then there's the ever impending doom of a car payment. I say to hell with it all, public transportation is D-O-A-B-L-E.

Screw this dude.
