post..everything..
May. 1st, 2004 01:52 pm...or at least post paper assignment and post Walpurgis night.
I have been exhausted since I turned in my huge assignment, and yet I went to the Eskobar concert the same night, and didn't regret it, although I sure had not much energy to dance, mostly sat and listened very content in my dark corner (with a good view).
My body has shown definite symptoms of stress of such kind that my doctor would probably advice me to wind down a little, and I almost had a fit when, come thursday, my professor called on my cellphone and told me that he hadn't got the mailed text. In the middle of our frantic conversation about how I perhaps would have to go to Stockholm to deliver it to him in person, he discovers the he indeed had got it after all. I almost had a second fit.
But Walpurgis night was nice. First herring lunch (Uppsala-tradition) with a few good friends, and then a little larger dinner thing at Pauline's. I got home in decent time, felt a little sick and under the weather and carefully avoided all the severely drunken teenagers.
Today I'm taking it really easy, but, as a faithful socialist (social democrat) I must try to go to Sofia's first of May dinner (not glorifying evil communist times anywhere, but the basic good ideas behind the worker unions, solidarity and the idea of a society that with the help of fair taxes takes care of it's sheep).
oh but I'm tired...
