Weekend Update
Mar. 7th, 2004 02:52 pmFriday was my last day at work, and I managed to finish the project. Would have been nice to have some more days to wrap it up even better, but still...
For the first time I think I might be able to actually do this, and do an ok job. I still have lots to learn, but that's "just" a case of discipline, not lack of brain capacity. The ppl at the archive seem grateful (since I did work for them and didn't cost them a penny), and gave me a tiny ceramic thingy and a goodbye cake feast. Can't say that I'm gonna miss the long train rides though, it feels good to have more of a life again.
Friday after work was party time, the R-group was celebrating that project ending well. Lots of booze, lots of fun, the way you have with people you've sweat and bled with. And I got a present from Sofia yesterday! A small music machine!! FINALLY I can play my cd:s again!
Am also pondering if to lure a few close friends into LJ land, since it's and easy way to keep in touch when I'm away in the States. Opening up a few things and closing a few will no doubt be the case anyway.
Back to school again tomorrow, but tonight is actually a full moon, and even if it's cloudy and I have my doubts about being able to see it, I'm still gonna go for a long walk and try.
