So, my ex will show up at a big event tomorrow, with his (uninvited)current wandering uterus (SO) and her offspring. I, the barren ex, have been asked to be toastmaster at this event, and I'm gonna be dressed up as a butchy military dyke. I find the challenges in life quite humorous sometimes, and this time I actually hear circus music in the back of my head.

Now..don't get me wrong... I would'nt want to be back with my ex anymore than I would like to eat a meal that has been microwave-nuked about a dozen times...but still, you gotta laugh a little at how things end up, who would have imagined this seven years ago?

Basically my interests are elsewhere nowadays, to put it mildly (and have been for a while), so I'm beginning to feel a little curious and upbeat about tomorrow...wonder if I can hold the funny sarcasms..hm. The birthday girl becoming thirty is gonna get a (hopefully) funny speech from me, I'll hold the sarcasms and focus on her instead..and hey...I'm a member of the SG-1 on this party for crying out loud! Now..where's that bleedin' stargate...One is located somewhere in Colorado I hear, suits me perfect...::huge grin::
