I no longer wash my hands in Palmolive!
Nov. 28th, 2005 12:54 pmFor me, PMS has often been a fancy word, kind of like "burned out", "clinical depression", "Fibromyalgia" or "post traumatic stress disorder". They are expressions that resonate with me, spontaneously I feel a surge of empathy and know what they are about...but I can't really feel that I can use those expressions freely on myself. It's like owning a heavy duty fancy soap that you don't wash your hands with yourself to get clean...you just smell it and watch it with horror struck emphatic longing, but in the end you clean your fingers with Palmolive hand-wash.
Well, I guess after this weekend I may wash my hands in PMS, rub it in and fully OWN at least a fraction of the word (see how I almost chickened out there?).
It started with my period being fancifully late.( ha, I lj-cut it, am I not NICE! )
