The end of Swedish innocense
Sep. 11th, 2003 02:21 pmThis early morning (around 5 a.m.)when I had just finished a phonecall to a special person far away, I watched the surgeons comment on the early morning tv-news, and there seemed to be some hope, and a pleasant further nap of a few hours (ahh, to be a full time student..), with pleasant dreams, I wake up to a friend calling and telling me she's passed away.
This is worse than when someone shot Palme in the 80-ies. He pissed off a lot of people (not that his death was'nt horrible, but somehow it was a bit easier to grasp..). But Anna Lindh???
The very likable and capable minister of foreign affairs, in broad daylight outside of NK (our version of Bloomingdales)!
So very violent too, stabs to the abdomen and chest, with a knife...
She leaves behind a weeping family and a nation of ppl that definitely have lost their low-crime virginity.
