Biting winds and red eyes
Jan. 30th, 2003 12:41 amSo I went back to the eye doctor monday with my little round glasses on my long nose. She looked at my eyes and said (lo!)that I need to rest my eyes. Keep off the contacts for a few, sleep (a lot) more and perhaps cut down the screen time a bit...yeah right!
It's the dry winter air. It's biting through everything and drying the skin, hair and eyes. I'm weary of this shit.
If I was an Inuit I would sit in my Igloo with my eskimo man, rinsing the fish, feeding the dogs and stuff, and then when darkness falls, we'd just share the furs, looking at the fire- shadows dance on the walls, feeling eachother up real nice under the blankets.
Now I'm just an eskimo woman without any slay-dogs, furs or man. How sad is that?
