Same here. I wouldn't have thought I'd answer this way either-- never been a real big fan of the horror genre (except for some of the more slapstick zombie movies) but a friend drug me to see the Friday the 13th remake and by about 30 minutes into it I didn't want to watch it anymore after I started making the connection that this sort of thing could & likely has happened to actual people... not so much a fear reaction (though there was some) as much as a disgust reaction... especially to the more fetishistic aspects of it.
